Some paintings are such a roller-coaster ride. As I worked on this one I went back and forth between peace and frustration. Just when I would love the direction it was heading, I would do something to ruin it…Then, I would work it out and start loving it again. The good thing was, I knew when it was done. Sometimes that is a hard call to make, but this one spoke and said, “Finished” quite clearly.
