Pouring Out A Blessing

New angel painting on 32″ x 12.5″ recycled cupboard door.

UP FOR AUCTION NOW!

I am so happy that I decided to work off some of these old paintings. It has helped me understand new things and has given me a tiny glimpse of what it would be like to be someone else. If that makes sense…

Upward

I am very excited about this new painting. I purchased a collage sheet of religious images and am going to be trying to put my own spin on a few. Below is the image I worked off.

I am trying to get a bit more three dimensional and paint faces and figures with new poses and expressions…and of course, still incorporating hands.

I didn’t capture the same emotion, but it was good practice.

Remember Mona?

I am so happy to have found a reliable print shop AND a good source of wood! Now I am able to offer some of my art as mounted prints. This one is 16″ tall by 11″ wide. I think that is about as big as I can go right now with the method I am using…but it is cool!

I like that even though it is a print, it still has that handmade feeling to it….guess that’s because it is handmade.

For artists who are wondering about the process of mounting prints to wood, I should have a tutorial to offer by next week…so hold on to your questions.

If you like this print of Mona’s Hands, you can find it on EBAY.
