Greetings! My name is Jane DesRosier. Thank you for stopping by my blog.

I currently live in North Carolina, but I grew up on Vashon Island in Washington and have lived most of my life in the Great Northwest. My father is an artist and a musician who passed on his love for the arts to me. It seems like I have always been expressing myself through one form of art or another.

Some of my favorite things to make are mixed media paintings and unique art dolls. I have a growing interest in impressionism and enjoy many mediums. I especially find pleasure in collecting what others might throw away and turning it into something beautiful.

The concept of life renewed fuels my inspiration and keeps me coming up with new ideas.

I offer original paintings online as well as in a few galleries. My paintings are collected both locally and worldwide.
