Clean-up Day!

[blip.tv ?posts_id=1424447&dest=-1]

Remember 6 months ago when we moved into this house and I showed pics of my art room? Well, I didn’t keep it tidy for long. I let it get so bad that I didn’t have anywhere to work! The walls started closing in and I found myself only able to stand in the middle of the room with an easle to paint! Don’t get me wrong, I kind of like it like that…I like to be surrounded by art supplies and to not have to worry about keeping things clean while I am working. In fact, I am a little nervous about going in there now.

She is what she IS…

This sculpture doll is one of my favorites! She was intended to be a cat-woman…but, as I painted her red, she began to look a little “devil-ish” so I gave her polka-dots to curb the wickedness and some bent bells atop her ears that made her look a bit like a jester of sorts…hmm….now, she is what she IS and THAT’S what she is.

Speaking of dolls…I am getting very excited because November 1st is just around the corner and the Cloth and Clay Doll Workshop will begin AGAIN! Yay!!

Find her on ebay HERE.
