He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds Psalm 147: 3

acrylic painting on 45″ X 18.5″ cupboard door

I did this painting after taking a few days off. Prior to painting it, I was having some severe stuggles with anger and frustration. I had a vengeful heart and my Father told me to not pick up the paintbrush until I had a better attitude. I prayed alot and grumbled even more and eventually my hard heart softened and I got over it…at least enough to be able to paint again. When I was working on this painting I felt Spirit filled and totally inspired. I reflected on how the Lord has healed my heart…not just over the last week…but over the last several years. He really does bind up the brokenhearted and I believe that even when life is at it’s worst, I will not be ever be completely crushed again. When Jesus saves, he SAVES!
We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed;
perplexed, but not in despair;
persecuted, but not abandoned;
struck down, but not destroyed.
2 Corinthians 4:8
