Yesterday I made video for one of my ebay listings. It is of the surrounding area here in Washington and me painting an angel. The text within the painting says:

If you have been watching my art, you know I love to include scripture in my paintings. There is nothing more true than God’s Word. My hope is that it will be another way to remind people of God’s Truth…Perhaps His message will catch their eye at just the right time. The process of integrating scripture into my paintings also helps me. I like to use real pages from the Bible and have often thought to myself…My Father knows me so well…He has used the creative process of art to get His message in me! So many times I have been reading the Bible for “artistic purposes” and He has spoken to me through the pages I flip through…Or, I will paint a painting with scripture and the very next day, I realize it was exactly what I needed to hear…God knows us each so well.

I am usually a home-body…but this is too much. I haven’t went anywhere for days because of the snow. Actually, it is black ice that I am more afraid of. My husband is in the local fire dept. and they were called out for a bad wreck caused by black-ice. Two ladies went over a guard rail and down a 40 ft. drop into a field! Here is my backyard this morning…

It is pretty though…The kids will not be going to school again and I am going to have to think of a fun project for them to keep busy with.. Otherwise, my 11 yr old turns into Napoleon Dynamite…I know, maybe we’ll make an art video to put on You Tube or something.
I will post the 5 people I tag later…I only have 3 so far. This blogging stuff is fun….and to think I scoffed for so long…

I got “tagged” by April Harres. So…I am going to share 5 things nobody knows about me in blogger land…. Ready? (drum-roll…..) Here they are:

1) I have a huge unwanted octopus tattoo on my back.
2) I often paint first thing in the morning as I wake up.
3) I sing and play guitar most Sundays at church.
4) My husband is 4 years younger than me.
5) Today, I am about a week into having removed sugar from my diet.
