Today I drove way out into the country to search for some GRITTY finds, and boy did I find some! I am going to be offering some BIG pieces here within the next month. I get so excited and inspired when I find just the right frame or old wood to paint on!

I have a friend I call The Wood Man (although he doesn’t know I call him that)…He helps me with my wood stuff like building my boxframes and all the wierd little requests I have concerning antique items I want to paint on…Anyways, tomorrow I am going to make a little video of him in his shop to show people the guy who does some of the gritty work that goes into my paintings. I’m not totally sure where I will post it yet…but I’ll have it posted somewhere within the next few days.
