I pray

that as we shut the door of 2009

and cross the threshold into 2010

our temples would indeed be a dwelling place

for the Holy Spirit

I pray

our hearts and minds be supple

and eager to do God’s will

I pray

this be a year of restoration

healing

newness

and life

Abba, I love you

I ask these things in Jesus’ name
